Second attempt!

Had a go with mats of Basic Grey and

 Early Espresso, I think they are better than the black of yesterday.  

 This one is  Basic Grey on a Wisteria Wonderbase card.......

.....and this is Early Espresso on a Tempting Turquoise card.
